The first in Cantabria
Where La Taberna del Herrero began in Santander: a cosy dining room, a street-level terrace and a menu led by sharing plates, free-range eggs from happy hens and local cheeses.
In the heart of Santander
Our most central restaurant, between Puertochico and the Paseo de Pereda. High mountain grass-fed meat, rockfish and a bar that invites you to stay.
Holm oak charcoal grill
The group’s big restaurant: spacious dining rooms, a holm oak charcoal grill and a menu designed for sharing — from steak tartare to the Tomahawk steak.
The Peñacastillo grill
The Peñacastillo tavern: a grill that never rests, creamy rice dishes, a home-style stew menu of the day and regulars who are almost family.
Where it all began
Our Castilian embassy and the group’s original home: here, a minute from the Plaza Mayor in Valladolid, is where La Taberna del Herrero began. A pintxos bar and well-pulled beers, a dining room for hearty stews and a wine cellar where Ribera del Duero plays at home.
